``THE LAST RESORT`` Immersive Theatre Event Publicity Campaign (2024)

In the fall of 2024, NovaCurrent PR was hired by Fairlith Harvey and Andy Garland of Dreamqueen Collective (now Dreamqueen Immersive) to manage a publicity campaign for the opening of their immersive theatre show, “The Last Resort”, in Vancouver.

We worked closely with Dreamqueen to create advance publicity for the show through interviews with Fairlith, key advertising partnerships, as well as show reviews from local critics and influencers.

The publicity campaign for “The Last Resort” resulted in over 20 media placements. Highlights included interviews with CBC North by Northwest, Stir, No Proscenium, Authority Magazine, Call Me Adam, Arts Rational, The Vancouver Guardian, and Canvas Rebel, a feature in The Georgia Straight, and reviews by Vancouver Plays, Vancity Vince, and Stir.

The publicity campaign contributed to a sold-out run for “The Last Resort” in Vancouver and also helped to establish the industry credibility of Dreamqueen as an authority in immersive theatre productions.
