In January of 2023, Canadian recording artist and producer KASIA joined forces with NovaCurrent Public Relations for her application to the FACTOR Artist Development program.
We worked with KASIA to prepare all aspects of her application – including the artist development plan, supplementary materials, and proposed budget.
KASIA was approved for FACTOR funding in the Artist Development program. The funding was used primarily towards subsequent sound recording and marketing initiatives.
In the winter of 2023, KASIA released her single “Hearstrings” and teamed up again with NovaCurrent Public Relations for a publicity campaign to promote the single and music video.
We worked with KASIA on a campaign that would draw awareness for her within the target genre demographic while also telling her story to a broader audience.
The music publicity campaign for “Heartstrings” earned over 15 media interviews and features for KASIA. Highlights included Perception Magazine, The Partae, Canadian Beats, A&R Factory, BuzzMusic, Tinnitist, Dirty Disco, Live in Limbo, Amplify Music Magazine, and Black is the New AP Style.

In the spring of 2024, NovaCurrent Public Relations continued working with KASIA – this time on a complete re-design of her website to highlight her career background, music releases, and press.

We worked with KASIA on a new website to properly showcase her accomplishments and present her brand with an authentic visual flair.
