In the summer of 2019, NovaCurrent PR was hired by Third Wheel Productions to manage a publicity campaign for the opening of their immersive theatre show, “Deep Into Darkness”, in Vancouver.
We worked closely with Laura Carly Miller and Sydney Doberstein of Third Wheel Productions to garner interviews with them, while also seeking out features and show reviews.
The publicity campaign for “Deep Into Darkness” generated over 60 media placements. Highlights included interviews with CBC North by Northwest, The Vancouver Sun, The Maple Ridge News, The Arts Report on CITR, and The North Shore News, as well as reviews from The Vancouver Sun, The Georgia Straight, Inside Vancouver, Montecristo Magazine, Jo Ledingham On the Scene, MyVancity, and Review Vancouver.
The publicity campaign helped Third Wheel Productions mark a successful sold-out run of “Deep Into Darkness” and advance the credibility of the group as an upstart immersive theatre producer.
