``LAKETOWN`` Single Release Publicity Campaign (2021)

In June of 2021, NovaCurrent Public Relations worked with Bristol Records and Canadian country artist Rod Black for a music publicity campaign for Rod’s summer single, “Laketown”. Because of Rod’s success in the rock genre with Jet Black Stare, as well as his experiences living in both Nashville and Saskatchewan, we pursued outlets that would be interested in these elements of his story.

As a result of this music publicity campaign, Rod Black earned more than 15 interviews and features from the media.

Highlights included television interviews with CTV Morning Live Saskatoon and CTV Morning Live Regina, a Canada Day television performance on Today in Nashville, additional interviews with Music City Music Magazine, Review Fix, Studio B Podcast, In the Country with Dave Woods, The Artists Behind the Music, and a performance on SCENES. We also organized an Instagram Takeover for Rod with The Country Note. Additionally, “Laketown” earned over 30 placements from influencers and independent Spotify playlists.

The campaign earned an additional 10 placements from Instagram influencers and independent Spotify playlists.
