Country Music Duo Robyn & Ryleigh Join the NovaCurrent Roster

NovaCurrent Creative Solutions is pleased to announce that we will be handling Canadian publicity for country music duo Robyn & Ryleigh to support the upcoming release of their first full-length album.

Nominated by the BC Country Music Association for “The Horizon Award” and “Group/Duo of the Year” at the BCCMA Awards in 2012, Robyn & Ryleigh are represented by Raincoast Music and have recently been signed by MDM Recordings/Universal Music Canada. Robyn & Ryleigh represent a new wave of exciting emerging country artists hailing from the West Coast.

Tracey Bell Appears on Global Morning News Regina

Award-winning celebrity impersonator and NovaCurrent entertainment client Tracey Bell appeared on Global Morning News Regina yesterday to promote her appearance as the headliner for the 10th Annual Divas’ Night Out fundraiser for the Regina Transition House and the Isabel Johnson Shelter. Nine years earlier, she was the original act at the first incarnation of the event, which made her return this year especially rewarding.

A longtime Canadian broadcaster – best known for his CKNW radio show and his current TV show on Shaw Television – David initially made his mark in public policy as the founder of X-Kalay, the first residential treatment centre in Canada. The launch of David’s new web site – and his new message of “Communication-Action-Change” – comes before the release of his new book, All the Way Home, which takes a closer look at the issues affecting the drug treatment programs of today. The tour begins in Canada in September before moving on to the United States and the United Kingdom, before returning to his native Australia.

“Vogville Presents” picked up by Shaw TV

NovaCurrent Creative Solutions and C&C Communications are excited to announce that Vogville Presents, the documentary series created by Jonathan Fluevog, has been picked up for television by Shaw TV.

The series will begin airing monthly in Vancouver on Shaw TV in September of 2012 and continue through April of 2013.

Vogville Presents is a documentary series that sheds light on chosen Canadian musicians who have experienced inspiring life journeys to go along with their inherent musical gifts in their specific genres of choice.

More details will be announced before the television launch.
